Big in Japan

Check out the very fun conversation I had last year with John Craig on his Japanese webcast Real Rover, about all things time-loopy. We discuss retrocausation, alchemy, Zen, and the Long Self that precognition gives access to. Enjoy!

  • Hey Eric, I haven’t gotten to listen to this interview yet, but I’ve been meaning to reach out to you and ask if you’ve read or listened to Mitch Horowitz’ book *The Miracle Club,* specifically because of chapter 11. He gives three different anecdotes about what he calls “time collapses* that I thought you might find interesting, especially one around being invited to do a review of Michael Nesmith’s (he of *Monkees* fame) 2017 memoir *Infinite Tuesday:An Autobiographical Riff* _after_ Horowitz had developed a mid-life interest in *The Monkees*. He also gives one dream example that is a spot-on example of your precognitive dreaming paradigm.

  • Hey Ahk,

Yes! Mitch’s book is great. In fact, I’m including a couple of those examples in my new book on precognitive dreamwork.

    Cheers,
    Eric

  • Eric, I have a new movie recommendation for you – “Annihilation”. It is one of the best sci-fi movies I’ve seen in years. While it is not directly related to your central topic of precognition, like “Arrival”, it definitely can inspire some new writing of yours, because of the depth of topics touched in it.

  • Yes, I enjoyed Annihilation. It had some great visuals … and that bear scene! It definitely felt like an homage to my favorite SF stories (esp. Solaris, Roadside Picnic/Stalker).

  • Nice Article.

Or, maybe, the supposed objects only fake looking like splitting/converging orbs, or wormholes, or… whatever… because that’s what they know you would expect? They thought, “Someone like Eric Wargo might figure out logically we should look like ‘this’, so let’s project ourselves as that”. Feints within feints.

Vallee’s masquerade rears it’s head again.

  • Thanks Garry. As you may know, I secretly think they ARE Jacques Vallee. He was the Phenomenon all along. 🙂
